Wake up early: This is the first step towards having a good day. You need to give yourself a few minutes after waking up to actually prepare for the day, Make your plans, think about what is in store, appreciate how far you have come and make sure you are on track with your goals. This will do so much for you than sleep. Go to bed earlier, if you need too, because a rushed morning will most likely lead to a rushed day.
Connect with what you believe in: If you are religious, then pray. If not, then find a way to connect to what you believe in. The point is that you start the day with faith and hope.
Music: A lot of people love to play music as they prepare for the day. Those who do this find that they feel upbeat and excited for what life has in store.
Exercise: It does not have to be for hours. A few minutes of exercise can wake you up and leave you feeling good. You could dance, do some jump rope or simply stretch.
Clean up: This goes without saying, but most people feel truly prepared for the day after they have brushed their teeth or have their bath. You are starting the day clean, so to speak,
Eat: And make sure you pick the right foods. You do not need to overstuff yourself, but you should not start the day hungry either. A light snack or fruit will not only boost your metabolism, but give you the energy to kickstart a fabulous day.
