Real Madrid sack Rafa Benítez, replaces him with Zidane

Rafa Benitez has been sacked by Real Madrid just six months after he was appointed.
Following Real's 2-2 La Liga draw at Valencia on Sunday night, club president Florentino Perez called a board meeting on Monday morning where the decision was made.

Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane as been called in to replace Benitez and will lead the side till the end of the season.

Madrid under Benitez, have been unable to win their big matches in La Liga.
                           
VillarrealSevilla and Barcelona all beat Madrid while Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain all shared points with the Madrid giants.
Real Madrid are expected to announce the decision in a press conference but major news sources have are already reporting the sack.
