Kehinde Bankole - 'My twin sister once acted,' AMVCA Best Actress says

2014 AMVCA Best Actress, Kehinde Bankole has disclosed that her twin sister was once an actress but decided to dump the art for a thriving career in event planning.

Speaking to Punch Newspaper, the October 1 star revealed that her twin sister, Taiwo Bankole actually began acting before she ventured into the art but dumped her career for a future in event planning.


In her words, "My twin sister is not an actress, she is an event planner, she started out acting before me but as her business began to grow, she decided to focus on her event planning business. That is not to say if she wants to come back she won’t.”

Kehinde won the Best Actress in a lead role for her role in Kunle Afolayan directed and produced flick, October 1 at the 2014 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
