Ocholi died on Sunday, March 6, 2016, along with his wife, Blessing and son, Joshua after being involved in a car crash along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
The FRSC also said that the driver who was conveying Ocholi and his family to Kaduna at the time of the crash did not have a valid license.
The disclosure was made by FRSC Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi while submitting an interim report to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
Oyeyemi also said that the victims were not wearing seat belts when the accident occurred and that the tyres of the vehicle were not in optimum condition.
Ocholi and his son lost their lives at the scene of the crash while his wife died later at a hospital in Kaduna.
Meanwhile, the late minister’s family has said that his death was not natural.
