Police Corporal dismissed for raping 9-yr-old girl

A Corporal serving with the Ebonyi State Police Command, Okporie Okporie, has been dismissed from the force for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl child of his neighbour.

Apart from the dismissal, the Commissioner of Police in the State, Peace Ibekwe Abdallah, has ordered that Okporie be charged to court to answer for his crimes.


It was gathered that Okporie had lured the girl into his room on the pretext that he wanted to send her on an errand but instead, tore her pants and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her, warning her never to tell anyone or else he would kill her and her parents.
