According to research from the annual meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in Baltimore, Men who are hoping to be fathers were advised to sleep naked and wear airy underwear in the daytime to improve baby making chances.
The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, Maryland, and Stanford University conducted research on 500 men for up to 12 months, following their underwear choices and sperm quality.
They discovered men who wore boxers in the daytime and nothing in the nighttime had 25% less DNA damage in their sperm unlike men who wore tight briefs day and night. Less than 15% damage usually means a very good outcome.
"Findings of this study are interesting but we need larger studies to confirm this.” Balen concurred: “This study supports the notion that keeping the testes cool is better for sperm function. However, we lack hard evidence that this leads to more pregnancies, which ultimately is all that matters.”
So, what do you guys think about these findings, do you think it’s true and would you actually take the advise?
