Wedding guest in India killed inside reception over choice of dance song

A wedding guest was beaten to death by a group of men after an argument over playing a choice of song at the reception.


                         

The deceased man a Saharanpur resident, had an altercation with his murderer who was also a guest at the wedding ceremony.

The accused together with his friends had beaten the wedding guest to death, ABP India reports.

                         

“On late Monday night, Manoj wanted the DJ to play a song of his choice. When Sachin, another wedding guest, insisted that the current song continue it led to a brawl between the two. Manoj then called three of his friends, who started beating Sachin up. The group of friends beat did not stop their assault till Sachin lay dead on the dance floor,” Times of India reports.

In the middle of the fight, one of Manoj’s friends brought an iron rod to the fight and struck a blow to Sachin’s head with it. Soon, the victim collapsed on the floor. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

                            

The four men have been booked by the police.
