It would have been another tragic scene this weekend after a tanker carrying petrol gut fire along the busy Sapele road, in Benin, the Edo State capital.

According to reports by Punch, the tanker was discharging products at an Oando filling station when the fire started from one of the rare tires of the vehicle
The incident which occurred at about 2pm on Saturday, 19 of December 2015 left the driver minor burn in one of his arms in his process of trying to drive the tanker out of the filling station when the fire initially started.

Fire came out from the ground and I don’t know how it happened. I ran into my truck and tried to take the tanker away. I have already discharged a compartment.
