Lamar Odom Suffered 12 Strokes In The Hospital — Damage May Be Permanent

Lamar Odom’s medical status may be even graver than we’ve imagined, with a new report stating that he suffered an unimaginable 12 strokes. Khloe and his family are hoping and praying that the damage hasn’t affected his motor skills forever.

Shortly after Lamar Odom, 35, was admitted to the hospital after suffering an alleged significant drug overdose on October 13, he experienced a series of strokes. And now, according to TMZ, that number has been revealed as a gargantuan 12 strokes, an absolutely devastating blow to his recovery. Lamar’s ability to walk and talk have been affected, and the question remains if the damage is everlasting.


Lamar’s doctors have performed a series of brain scans, which have confirmed that Khloe Kardashian‘s husband did indeed suffer from 12 of the debilitating neurological blows. The strokes didn’t affect any of Lamar’s vital organs, according to TMZ, but the events did impact his ability to walk and talk. This is so upsetting!

It’s unknown at this point what the extent of the damage done to his motor skills is, or if any of his impairment from the strokes will be permanent. He’ll likely undergo months of physical therapy to help restore some function if possible.
