We have been briefed by a client of ours, an accomplished
law firm providing services for leading oil industry players and major telecom
service providers to recruit professional lawyers on its behalf. This law firm
has its headquarters in Delta State and Branch Office in Abuja.
SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL
The position holder is expected to provide leadership and management direction to legal practitioners within the firm. This person is also an adviser to the Managing Partner and other senior management of the Firm on legal. matters, governance and policy. Other responsibilities will also include overseeing all business administration, support functions and non-attorney staff coordination to ‘ensure the accomplishment of the strategic goals and objectives of the firm.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 10 years post bar experience in commercial and corporate law, finance and oil and gas legal experience.
Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Other Considerations:
Prospective employees should be prepared to work in any part of the country.
Candidates must possess strong undergraduate academic records
LEGAL COUNSELS
The position holders give legal advice and assistance to clients and represent them in court or in other legal matters. They work within the Practice areas of the firm.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years post bar experience; Legal – practice experience in commercial and corporate law, finance and oil and gas will be an added advantage.
